I tried this "Cool Gel" version of Sensodyne because the "Mint" version was no longer available directly from Amazon. It works just as well as the "Mint" version and is just as refreshing. I feel no sensitivity to cold or hot when I use it. I've been using Sensodyne toothpaste for years, and purchasing from Amazon for 7 years, The "Cool Gel" version does seem more expensive than the others.
