Good book, December 22, 2015

I purchased this book because we had a biter in our daycare. Karen Katz books are usually excellent. I enjoyed this book but my toddler did not engage with the book as I would have hoped. Definitely did not help with her biting issue. I feel overall it is a good book, just this student didn't care to much for it.

This came recommended by my son's school therapist. He loves it! Great for positive behaviors on what he CAN do instead. And he gets to eat an apple that he CAN bite while we read it together. Bought one for his pre-k classroom, too.

Only one page is about not biting. A better title would be "No!"

A family favorite. Our 5th copy. Might need a page about "No Tearing." "What can you tear?" A candy wrapper - not the book page! LOL

The only page that says no biting is the first ..., November 12, 2015

The only page that says no biting is the first page...the rest are simple and to the point too but silly to me even for the littles. No hitting mommy, what can you hit? A drum! No kicking the dog, what can you kick? A ball! These are the types of pages that follow.
