5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for Dental Health Month!, March 03, 2006
By Laurie K. Velkov
I read this book to my [class] class during a unit on dental health during February- Dental Health Month! Reading about how toothpaste was made was interesting and exciting for the children. After reading the book, we did a toothpaste taste test using several different children's toothpaste. Hands down watermelon toothpaste won!! This book helped me to create a lesson that reinforced the need to brush and that brushing did not have to be a unpleasant experience.
