My two year old was so proud that he was able to go to the dentist "just like Elmo". Like another reviewer mentioned, it's a little wordy and took a few tries to get all the way through but now it's a favorite in this household.

My 23 month old daughter loves Elmo, so this was a good book along with a few others to help prepare her for her first dentist trip. Although she likes it, it is targeted for a little older audience. She prefers "ready set brush" with Elmo as it is interactive.

I was hoping to get this book for my 2 year old who was visiting the dentist for the first time. This book is great, very colorful, but is very very wordy. Too much reading for a 2 year old's attention span. I also wasn't thrilled with them bringing up the idea that going to the dentist can hurt...so if you are looking for a book to get your child used to the idea of the dentist, I wouldn't recommend this one at all. But if you have a child that needs dental work done (like a cavity filled), then this book would be fine as this is what the book is about, the Big Bad Wolf getting his tooth fixed.

This is a well illustrated 23 page paperback book approximately 8X8 inches. In this book the three little pigs and the big bad wolf are friends. Apparently he only wants to eat their apples. When "Big Bad" gets a tooth ache, Elmo goes with him to the dentist. The reader is given a very detailed account of what to expect at the dentist office as well as advice on taking care of one's teeth. If your child is an Elmo fan he will love this book.
