Excellent materia Medica as well as Repertory for dental issues., November 11, 2015

This book contains valuable information regarding the specific remedies used in dentistry as well as an extensive repertory for symptoms. It is a comprehensive materia medica as well as a complete repertory for all dental issues. There is little information regarding actual dentistal practices and I don't know what book the other reviewer read, but it certainly was not this book. I found it extremely valuable as both a student learning the remedies and a practitioner in need of a handy dental remedy reference.

Totally Misleading Toothbook, May 01, 2009

I honestly without any exaggeration wish i could've gave this a 0 star. This is the worst tooth book i've ever came across. This author has fasely advertised this book in every way possible. 1st- It deals more than anything with the technical medical terminology of the ailment names along with their symptoms. This had the potential to be a great reference! If it would've gave consistent remedies after the ailment listings. But it didnt! I dont know anyone who in which wouldnt be as equally interested in getting the actual remedy, just as much as knowing the ailment name for the teeth. The whole book was suppose to be about giving actual remedies oppose to its falsely advertising title and content. Again, who wants to read technical ailment terms without getting any solutions!
2nd- You'll spend more time trying to learn how to pronounce the dental nomenclatures, instead of finding out what remedy can be beneficial for your teeth.I always try to give some aspect of positivity to all of my reviews. Although it can be hard at times especially after you come across false advertising of titles. However the positive thing which i'll mention about the book is: Its a great terminology reference guide. When you want to know the actual technical name for the ailment along with its symptoms associated with the name. But dont expect page per page remedies. In appearance at first, it looks like you'll get answers to your problems. But as you move right along throughout the book, you'll beg the differ.
3rd- On the back cover/side of the book. The author mentions certain disciplines/alternatives such as: Yoga,Reiki,Ayurveda,Electrohomoeopathy,Etc; But he doesnt mention nor go into them on the inside of the actual book. He doesnt spend any time expressing how they can relate to your teeth getting remedied. Its understood that different disciplines/alternatives help bring holistic balance to a persons well being. But what purpose does it serve to just mention the alternatives on the backcover. Without talking about what they can contribute towards the teeth within the inside of the book! This is why i gave this the rating which i gave. On the other hand: I hope someone else can truly get something positive from it.
As the old saying goes, " One man's trash is another man's treasure"
