Great for novices!, February 16, 2015

Excellent book! In particular, if you are interested in self-healing and feel overwhelmed by learning the intricacies of Chinese medicine and acupressure this is a great introductory book. Having said that...The author does a great job of describing the basic methods of acupressure and provides some reference stories that describe how the book can be useful as a long term aid. The only flaw in the book, aside from arguable differences in technique, etc, is that the index for the body diagrams is weak.

This is a very good book that I use to give my body a boost with the acupressure techniques. I had a paper back version which I have used for over ten years and it was beginning to fall apart. I was happy to locate the hard copy version on Amazon.

Great book for beginners., February 10, 2014

I purchased the Acupuncture Without Needles book and use it about once per week for reference. The diagrams are very easy to follow to find the acupressure points. The procedure graphs are simple to understand. The techniques described in the book are typical of most accupressure books but the language used is geared to non professionals. The material is organized according to body part which makes finding a procedure very simple. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants an intrductions to accupressure and effective methods to address many health concerns.

Best book for cures, October 17, 2008

I follow this book alongside Michael Reed Gach's book, for proper locations of the points, because in JV Cerney's book, it's sometimes difficult to find the acupuncture pts. On my first day of trying the pts. suggested in the book, I worked my pts. for the lung meridian, the next day I was coughing up mucous and phlegm. I love this book. I find out where I am having problems in my body. Love it!
