Clinically effective, November 30, -0001

This was a great book and has proved itself to be very useful in the clinical setting. It may seem like a long list of points for some of the formulas, but if discernment is made as to which points are used with what kind of stimulation (tonification or sedation), results can be exceptional.

Excellent Book, November 30, -0001

After a single vehicle rollover accident I was left with multiple crushed vertebrae (so crushed that I lost 2 inches in height due to the accident). An MRI showed that additionally I had syringomyelia (a relatively rare birth defect of sorts that causes an extremely narrow spinal canal) and because of that condition, my spinal cord was pinched in 3 places and fluid leaking from it. The pain from the crushed vertebrae was excruciating. My neurologist said that my only option was morphine injected directly into my spine or a morphine implant. I was also told that I could wake up paralyzed from the neck down or the waist down any morning. I began researching alternative healing methods and began my research with this book. It addressed paralysis, syringomyelia and many other associated problems. Long story short, I took the book to an acupuncturist and we customized formulas for my treatment. My pain was gone after the first treatment. A year later new MRIs showed that the leaking areas in my spine had healed and the threat of paralysis diminished significantly. I highly recommend this book to any student of acupuncture or anyone who has pain or injury who is considering acupuncture. Acupuncture is painless and works.
