 Great labcoat with nice features, but runs a little large, February 04, 2016

Pros:
Lots of pockets
Scissor/tool loops in right waist pocket
Length short so you don't look pretentious
Cons:
Runs large
Sleeves a little long
Chest pocket doesn't have pen slot
I ordered this labcoat to replace a longer Landau labcoat that was nearing the end of its days. When first putting this labcoat on, I noticed that it was much bigger than expected. I actually ordered a size smaller than I thought I needed, and it was still a little large on me. Possibly related to the sizes running large, the sleeves were a little longer than my old lab coat. Not a huge deal for me, but if you do a *lot* of hands-on work/procedures this might be a deal-breaker.
Despite the large size, I still love this labcoat. It has LOTS of pockets -- 2 waist pockets on inside and outside as well as 1 chest pocket on inside and outside. The right waist pocket has 2 loops for items like scissors, hemostats, etc which is a nice feature to keep those items quickly accessible. One disappointment about the pockets was that the chest pocket doesn't have the pen slot typically seen on labcoats and scrubs, so pens have a way of drifting out. Finally, then length of this labcoat is perfect. The old saying goes something like "the longer your labcoat, the more important you look". I find it quite the opposite -- longer labcoats make you look pretentious. Your preference may vary.
I'll definitely buy this labcoat again once this one wears out, but I'll be more careful about sizing next time.

This is a very heavy duty lab coat, not the thin light material you would expect from this price point. Looks very nice starched up and pressed. The size does seem to run a bit large.
