4.0 out of 5 stars.  Easy to read...but does not include TIVA recipes, February 03, 2007
By Enigma (Kensington, MD USA)
There are not too many dedicated TIVA books around. At 145 pages, this is the only book I was able to find that was not a thick, never to be read cover to cover textbook. The book does an excellent job at reviewing the main points of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics without getting esoteric.

However, I was hoping that the book would go over real-life TIVA recipes with experienced expert opinions, which it does not.

The book is a little dated, being a 1998 edition. It does not include some of the latest controversies to include Propofol Infusion Syndrome. However, I consider it to be a good basic introduction to TIVA.
