5.0 out of 5 stars.  a great book to supplement other dental self help books, January 03, 2016
By Van Alexopoulos
i have read about a half dozen books about dentistry. I have no formal dental knowledge, just a passion for health. I was sceptical at first that a dentist would be preaching remineralisation and was not sure if I would gain access to new information. I was pleasantly surprised. The book was easy to read (for non dentists) and presented a wide and detailed body of knowledge about cavity formation (food, stress, hormones, glands, minerals, etc) as well as remineralization. a great book and complementary to Holistic dentistry by Nadine Artemis and Cure Tooth Decay by Ramiel Nagel and ladt but not least, Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Weston A Price, DDS. Kindle version was just fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Finally, Just the Facts, November 20, 2015
By Kalatraza
Cavities. I keep getting them. Dentists. I hate them. You see the problem, right? So when I heard about "healing cavities," I thought that sounded pretty good. After reading too many contradictory websites from "experts" in this field, I still didn't know if I should go out and buy a tank of coconut oil. Sometimes only a book will do.

Dr. Benoit's book was _exactly_ what I needed. She explains clearly what can be accomplished with these healing techniques and what simply won't work. I learned, for instance, that pre-cavity areas between the teeth probably won't benefit from the oft recommend cavity healing techniques -- teeth are simply too close together for those areas to have enough exposure to those products.

There are many books in the Amazon store about this topic, and I chose this one because it seemed like it would be an unbiased look at what you can reasonably accomplish with natural dental care. It delivered, and I've recommended the book to several equally pleased friends since I read it.

The reading level in this book is at the level of an average reader -- the skill level you would need to read a newspaper. It isn't overly technical ad doesn't have a lot of medical words in it either.

Happy reading! And brushing!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A great book, April 26, 2015

A great book, gives you the answers to the questions you wish you had time to talk to your dentist about.
With lots of practical tips to try, and hopefully find a reason for any decay you have.
