Used in conjunction withe the OAT guide. This was so far head and shoulders better than Barrons and Kaplan guides I bought it wasn't even funny. You could use this and only this and nail the OAT/DAT. I had even bought the Destroyer books but those are WAY over-complications of what is on the test and struggling with them is not a wise use of time. Register the book and use the online practice tests. The practice tests provided were SPOT ON for the real thing. My AA was a 360 and my total science a 370. I even received a small scholarship and think my success was due to heavy use of the materials in this book and the online free accompanying material.

I bought this study book and 3 additional practice exams for a total of 5 practice exams. As a poor student, I could not afford private tutors or sign up for classes. Although I believe retaining information from undergraduate science classes is the most effective way to score well, this study guide helped me a lot, especially for giving brief overviews on certain topics. My main problem was the science section, and I thought the study guide did a rather good job summarizing most topics. I studied for approximately 2 weeks before my DAT, scored an overall of 21, and got accepted to dental school.

I'm not taking the DAT, but I skimmed over the book before I gave it to someone who would profit from it. It seems to be an alright book to supplement other materials. However, the person whom I had given the book to seems to hate me now. Oh well, I think the book is an alright study aid.
I've used the Princeton Review's line of MCAT study aids, and those worked wonderful.
