The book is ok, it was recommended by my instructor at school, there is detail review and practice questions. But I just wish it is section by radiology, infection control and chair side like what is gonna be on ten real DANB. The book review separate into different small section, it just feels all over the place, and kinda hard to figure out how to study on.

I used Mosby's books to help me study for exams in Paramedic school 20 years ago and my son is using their books to assist him with Dental Assisting now... they are still at the top of their game and he is very impressed with how much using this book just over this first weekend of ownership has improved his retention and knowledge base in the subject. You have got to LOVE Mosby's!

I rated this five stars because the book was very thorough and practically brand new. It was also at an amazing price and I honestly couldn't have asked for more for what I payed. I would recommend this book and this seller for sure!

I found this book to have several errors, overall shattering my confidence in it. I don't feel like it would adequately prepare someone to take the DANB.

 Mosby's comp review dental assisting, September 03, 2000

I felt to book to be very helpful in preparing to take the Danby test. The review section covered the topics in enough detail so you could answer the questions. Some of the questions were a bit technical. Over all I thought the book to a very good referance book.
