A magic summary, October 16, 2013

This book is very useful for oral Board review. If you have good knowledge, but lose your speech because of losing headings, this book is made for you. Less than a hundred pages that make full skeleton of the body of anesthesia. Be careful, this is just a skeleton, and in order to have a full body, you have to have strong medical knowledge.

Good starting point, June 03, 2012

This book serves as a good start in preparation for the oral boards; that is in how to organize your thinking. Definitely should not be your only study guide. Be warned, lots and lots of grammatical errors. Did they even proof read it once?

Very Basic Review, October 13, 2010

I purchased this review book in order to have something to quickly review during the last 1-2 weeks before the boards. It's a very basic review book (with a few errors), but it served the purpose for which I bought it. If an outline format works for studying/reviewing, then this book will definitely work. Some may find that the contents are a little too boiled down though.

very good review for those with limited time, August 24, 2010

very good review source, very brief and to the point. Excellent for those with limited time. Not an in-depth or "how to" but gives excellent information. One of the tools I used to pass written anesthesiology boards.

A very helpful book, April 08, 2010

I found this book very helpful for busy junior anesthesiologists who do not have a lot time to prepare for oral board. Unlike any other oral board preparation materials, this book is very short, condensed, with complete coverage of all essential clinical topics. It is an excellent book for a quick but thorough review. I highly recommend it.

Although it is not enough for the Oral Board Exam, the Preface- Advices, Chapter 1 Essential topics, Chapter 2 Preop evaluation are very good.
