The National Board Dental Hygiene Exam is much easier to prepare for when you have this guide to help you. It provides you with so much more than just a generic review of the material. It goes in-depth to help you fully understand and then provides a sample test to help you see how much you've learned. it even goes as far as providing you different strategies to help you use your time wisely and practice with a mission.

If you need help studying for this exam, this study guide will really hit the spot. IT has all of the information you need to review and learn and it can help you organize your own thoughts with a little room in the margin to make notes and highlight the areas you need to study more. The guide also has a few helpful things that are good for every test like test taking tips and study secrets that can help you avoid mistakes you may have made in the past when it comes to taking an important test. Use this guide wisely and you won’t be sorry.

I read reviews online about this study guide. So many people said that this was the only thing they studied and they passed with flying colors. I am honestly wondering if those reviewers were fake, getting paid by a company to leave these positive reviews. The reason I say this is because I just took the NBDHE yesterday, after reading through this guide 3 times, and I do not feel confident. This study guide does not go in great detail. The NBDHE has a lot of information on it, asking for specific details about certain items. This study guide does not go into the details. It instead gives you very broad and basic information, lacking all the important details necessary to do well on the exam.
Many other reviewers, and even former classmates, told me the Kaplan NBDHE study guide is better. I can not say for myself whether it was good or not, since I did not personally read it, but I would consider that one before this one if you are debating on a good study guide.
UPDATE 11/5/2012: It turns out I did pass the NBDHE! However, I still stand by what I said. This study guide is definitely not the best one out there. I felt as though 75% of my questions were NOT in this study guide. If you do order this study guide, I would also order a better book, such as Kaplan since so many of my former classmates said that it helped them tremendously.

The review was way too general and did not hit the most important details of all the needed review areas. I recently took the National Exam and felt it was a waste of money!

I purchased this NBDHE study guide and that's really all I studied. I read it five days before my test and I passed! I'm receiving my license because of this book.
