I'm a first year pharmacy student, and we were required to get this cards for a top200 drug class we take. It's a good thing our teacher gives us powerpoint as well with information about these drugs because these cards doesn't give you much. I even bought a drug handbook to help me out because the cards tell you what the class the drug is in but it doesn't even give you a basic explanation of what it does as well the main side effects. It mostly gives you contraindications (in the most complicated way), dosage forms, parameters and a couple counseling points. Anytime I use these cards I have to use my handbook just to get the basics about the drugs because it doesn't give you that.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Major disappointment. The cards are fine, February 27, 2015

One of the main reasons I purchased it was for the audio component - but the weblink provided did not work and trying to get any help was futile. Major disappointment. The cards are fine, but I'm guessing this is one of those things P1's like myself will buy and then never, ever use again. Too clunky.

The box is durable, the cards not so much. Some of my cards were messed up with print.. product was recommended for school and the digital flash cards aren't as mobile.

Cards do have a lot of information but personally were not a good study tool
And do not believe benefited me for exams or boards. I believe organization by class or use would be helpful.

Great for general information. Could really use better dosing information though.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  At best okay, October 14, 2014

Paper used is a bit light, these will not last long. That is not the reason for the rating though. These cards do not list onset, peak, or duration of action. Additionally the format is inconsistent from drug to drug, for example elimination may be on front or on back of the card. Finally www.top300drugcards.com does not appear to work, or at least has not for the past several hours. I have a different set on order now and I hope they will be more useful, these I'm afraid are going to end up sitting on a shelf. As background only I am completing a MSN program and had hoped to use these in my pharmacology class, but lacking onset where appropriate and consistant format renders them unsuitable for my purposes.
