This book is a report of the seventh annual Symposium on Craniofacial Growth, held at the University of Michigan, Feb 29 and March 1, 1980, to honor Dr. Robert E. Moyers. A number of solicited contributors are also represented. The symposium provided an even more unique function that it has in recent years — that of bringing together for the first time distinguished researchers and clinicians from the social and biomedical sciences who are concerned with facial appearance. As a "first" for this relatively new field, the book bridges the gap between the clinical and basic social and biomedical sciences.
