Our son was done with his BOB book series and we didn't really know where to go from there. These books are great! Each level is a fabulous guide for us as parents on reading skills and where to go next. Some of the Level 1 readers can be so vast in their ability. These provide a way for us to keep encouraging our son to read and see him progress at a nice pace. We have now purchased four of the penguin young readers and will continue.

My daughter is 5 and she absolutely loved this book. It took away any anxiety she had about losing her own teeth.
