I guess I didn't look at how many pages this book was. I bought it for a 5 year old and it has small print and lots of pages. Very nice book but definitely longer than a bedtime story.

Wonderful book! My son and my daughter loved the book and could not wait for the next story time. We finished the book in just a couple days. I have recommended this book to many of my neighbors, family and friends. I can not wait for the next book.

This delightful book is everything the title insinuates. The story and characters are magical and captivating. Once I began reading I could hardly put it down as I always found myself wanting to find out what would happened next. From beginning to end I enjoyed the twists and turns of the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to be whisked away to an enchanted world. I hope there will be a second book. I have purchased several books to give as gifts. Highly enjoyable!

I bought this book for my 6 and 7 year old granddaughters. I started reading the book to my 7 year old but only got a few chapters in before we had to stop. Before I could get back to the book she picked it up and started reading it herself. The words she cannot figure out she is spelling to whomever she can find. As she gets frustrated very easily, I was quite surprised that she was trying to read it on her own. Obviously the story "enchanted" her. Very good first effort by this author, I will watch for her next book.

A Marvelous and delightful tale of adventure and daring with values and ethics that I want my child to share. My wife was enthralled by the story finishing it over the weekend. Our children love the story and you can see it come alive in their eyes.
Much recommended, a sure hit.
