This book has moved int my top ten ever list and as an elder that has read many, many books during my lifetime that is in my mind mighty praise. Furthermore it has inspired me to embark upon the path of learning about and becoming an herbalist as I prepare for "retirement" and enter a new phase of my life. Thanks, Rosalee!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A must-have book for any beginner or advanced herbalist., April 13, 2017
By Golden Poppy Herbs
A must-have book for any beginner or advanced herbalist.

This book provides and excellent foundation for anyone wanting to use herbs in their life on a regular basis. By starting with the herbs that most people are familiar with (the common kitchen spices), Rosalee has made herbalism easily accessible and understandable.

This book is a great introduction to the energetics of herbalism, which provides the foundation of any herbal practice, beginner or otherwise.

The detailed plant monographs provide tons of information, and the numerous recipes provided for each herb make it easy to get started using it right away.

Not matter where you are on your herbal learning path, this book belongs on your shelf.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  WOW! A must for anyone into herbs!, April 13, 2017
By Kindle Customer
Fantastic book! Easy to read and understand. I’ve been interested in herbs for a long time but all the information out there can be so confusing. I watched a few of Rosalee’s videos and she has a way of explaining things that makes it much easier to understand. She teaches how everyone is so different. And how one herb may work well for an individual, but not for another and why. When she came out with this book, I ordered ahead and was just expected a small rundown about herbs. WOW! I was completely surprised to see such details, beautiful pictures, recipes…and for the price I paid, this book is unbelievably great! I highly recommend this whether you are just beginning with herbs or seasoned in knowledge. A must for any bookshelf.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Amazing combo of art, cookery, and science!, April 13, 2017
By Pivowyn
Everything I expected and more. Even though I had previews of the photos and recipes, the final product is above and beyond what I imagined. The photos are gorgeous, the herb details are encompassing yet succinct, appropriate for a "cook book." As an herbalist and an avid foodie, this book is the perfect combo of herbal medicine and how to prepare them in food and other applications. I have been carrying it around in my purse since the day after I received it, so I can show it to my friends and fellow foodies. Everyone I show it to has quickly commented that they, "have to get this book!" A work of art and science that is a must for any foodie's cook book shelf!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A Must for getting healthy, April 13, 2017
By kelly
There are many reasons why I gave this 5 stars:
1. Great layout and pictures making it easy to understand.
2. She really sticks to all natural. Some all natural books will stick in a few questionable ingredients. Not this book.
3. She takes ingredients you already have in your cupboard, but gives you ways to incorporate them more regularly and ways to up the quantity too, making them more medicinal.
Love it in every way!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A Herb Book for Everyone using Everyday Ingredients!, April 13, 2017
By ServeLeadMom
An herb book for everyday people using everyday ingredients!

I can't understate how much of a win-win this book is for everyone interested in becoming knowledgeable about herbs. Whether your ultimate goal is to build a pantry-size apothecary or brew a nourishing cup of tea using , this book is written for you.

Although I consider myself fairly well-versed in the herb department, I like that this book is written for people who are an easy read manner with plenty of tools, such as quizzes, exercises, and recipes to help you navigate down the herbal highway:

* what types of herbs to use for your personal constitution (whether you are hot, cold, damp, or dry);
* how herbs can help "tune" up your system and keep it running smoothly; and
* how best to use those herbs (steeped in tea, blended into a lotion, added to pesto sauce, baked in a cake).
