It doesn't sting like ACT, Listerine, or Scope. With these other mouthwashes, I always found they created a lot of mucus in my throat and made me cough. Cleure has a mild cinnamon taste and is gentle to use. Best of all, there is no sodium lauryl sulfate which is a "pesticide" that is small enough to penetrate the cell walls and do damage.
