Meant for the garbage

These trays were such a pain. In order to mold them it says to put them in boiled water for 6 seconds. We put them in for about 5 seconds and it folded over onto itself and then within literally one second of removing it it had molded to itself. Only one of the three received didn't fold in on itself and I was able to "mold" it, if you could say that. It became super thin as I pressed it around my teeth and spread out like mad over my gums and upper mouth. Waste of time, luckily they weren't too expensive but even for the cheap price it is so not worth it. Threw them in the garbage within a half hour of receiving them.

I didn't used my trays from Express health right away. When I finally tried them, I followed the DIRECTIONS that were included in my shipment, which read as follows:
"INSTRUCTIONS FOR FORMING YOUR boil-n-Bite (Thermoform) Trays for use with Tooth Whitening Gel.
Step 1: Boil a pot of water and then submerge your mouthpiece into it for 5 - 15 seconds. You will see the mouthpiece begin to wilt. NOTE - Keeping the mouthpiece submerged too long will cause it to shrink.
Step 2: Place the mouthpiece into your mouth and press it against the front of your teeth with your fingers and the back of your teeth with your tongue. Let it cool and your mouthpiece is now perfectly molded to your teeth.
Step 3: NOTE - You will only need to conduct the boil-n-bite procedure once for each mouthpiece, not each time you conduct your whitening session.
Step 4: After you have formed your Whitening Trays, your trays are ready for use.
Squeeze Whitening gel into the front of your mouthpiece. You don't need to over fill it. Place mouthpiece over your teeth for 15-45 mins. Repeat this process for both upper and lower teeth once per day until teeth have reached desired shade of white."
The directions I received are wildly incorrect - especially Step 1, which resulted in one of my trays being destroyed and tray being rendered unusable, and the remaining two poorly formed. ...no doubt that's why the currently posted directions instead reads,
"Bring a pot of water to a boil and remove from heat. - Holding the handle, dip the tray in the water for 3-5 seconds. Over Exposure Will Melt the Tray! - Remove the tray from the water and let cool for 3 seconds - Place the tray in your mouth over your teeth, mold to your teeth by pressing firmly on the inside and outside of your teeth with your fingers (see fig. 1) - Allow the tray to cool while still inside your mouth - Remove the tray - Repeat the same process with the other tray for the lower set. - After forming the top of the trays can be trimmed to the gum line for a better fit."

Be very careful. I successfully molded one tray but on the second tray I accidentally folded the rubber when sticking it in my mouth and it ruined the tray. Tried for 20 minutes to keep re-heating and reshaping it but to no avail. Money down the drain.
