5.0 out of 5 stars  Works like a charm! Perfect if you have limited counter space.
By MsTexaFornia on December 01, 2015
Received ahead of estimated delivery date. Prior to receipt, I received an email from the manufacturer giving the "finer points" of installation. With extensive (expensive) dental work, I had been in need of a dental irrigation system for years; however, my counter space is very limited. When I saw this, it seemed too good to be true. Initially, it WAS too good to be true, because I couldn't get the picks to go all the way into the slot. After a few days of indecision, I emailed ShowerBreeze and received an immediate response that the O-rings were too large. I received the proper O-rings (hardly visible difference to the naked eye) in less than a week, along with a very nice pen.

I started with fairly low pressure level and have built up with the pressure lever about half way between on and off. Once, I got over enthusiastic and had the pressure too high, so my gums bled slightly. I brought the pressure back down, so this has not been an issue again.

The only down side is that the adapter causes the shower head to be lower, so, as a tall person, it is more difficult to get my hair clean. So, now, I need a shower wand!

5.0 out of 5 stars  The installation was easy although I did use a wrench (gently)
By Susan Bame on November 24, 2015
I just received mine and installed it last night. The installation was easy although I did use a wrench (gently).

However: the two piks enclosed with the set do not fit and stay put inside the pik holder on the spray hose. I assume this is not the way it's supposed to work, and I read a number of reviews and nobody else is talking about this issue that I can see. I've called and left two messages at customer service and just tried calling again -- and the message says that they are "busy". I didn't feel like leaving a third message.

I'd really like to "like" it more -- and maybe I will if I can actually use it the way it's supposed to be used. Perhaps my call to customer service, if they ever call back, will resolve this issue. If so I'll update my review.

Right now...it's a long dangly white cord in my shower.

***

Update! Okay, I figured it out. PUSH the piks into the nozzle where the water comes out, and then TURN the pik gently. My mistake was not pushing them down first and turning. Think of a child-proof lid on a prescription bottle: push, turn, it pops right into place.

So I upped my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars, for the product. Now that I've figured this out and tried it, I think it's a great product. It's brand new, though, so I don't know how it will last over time.

Customer Service, however, gets zero stars. There's an 800 number on the bottom of the package and someone could have taken a whole minute to listen to my question and answered my question. I left two messages on two separate days, then called back again later and didn't leave a message after once again getting the "busy" message. Yes, it is Wednesday of Thanksgiving week, but no one has called me back, and it's been four days since I left my first voicemail message. That's not looking good.

4.0 out of 5 stars  Great Product.....Installation pointers
By WJF on November 18, 2015
I first purchased this item January of 2014. That one failed on October of 2015. Started squirting water out of the handle. The newer model seems to be a more robust design. A few installation tips based on my failure to follow the directions.

Apply the plumbers tape clockwise around the threads. I wrapped it counter-clockwise a few times before realizing that it was unraveling and binding as I threaded the fittings. This causes water to leak from the threads.

Do not over-tighten the fittings. Too much compression on the gasket and it is non-functional. As you screw the collar onto the shower pipe, you will feel the resistance of the plumbers tape. As soon as that resistance increases, the pipe is at the gasket. Stop, turn on the water. If it leaks, shut the water off and tighten the collar a little bit more. repeat as necessary.

The defective red tip. as other posters have noted, there seems to have been a batch error when the red tips were made. a tiny piece of loose plastic gets lodged in the tip opening which causes turbulence in the water stream. You can pry that piece of plastic out with a needle.

1.0 out of 5 stars  3x QC Fail
By Diane on November 06, 2015
Product came with several broken parts. The clip to hang the attachments was broken. The the black rubber seal for the tools free install was broken. The tip on the red attachment was deformed and sprayed a mist instead of a stream.

I managed to make it work with a rubber seal I had left over from a drip irrigation system that I had. I am still disappointed that pretty much anything in the kit that was plastic/rubber except for the hose came broken or deformed to the point that QC should have caught it.

I'm assuming that the "lifetime warranty" doesn't cover the tips so, I'm out one tip and had to MacGyver it to work. I would not buy this brand again.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Good bang for the buck
By Scott E. on November 06, 2015
This thing is awesome!! we have had it for about two weeks now. Only bad thing is the holder will not stay stuck to our shower wall so I used a dab of silicone calking instead of the the double sided tape that came with it.
It really is like a mini pressure washer for your teeth our water pressure is 65psi and neither of us can turn it up yet, there is more then enough pressure in our home. Expect your teeth to feel really clean and smooth after using this. At first it tickled so bad I had to keep stopping but after 3 or 4 days its nothing. I would rate this right up there with our sonic care flex tooth brushes maybe even higher since this was 1/6th the price.

And Install was stupid easy Don't use tools and over tighten the fitting it has a rubber O-ring like whats in your hose there is not Need for tools here it will break the seal and void your warranty.

5.0 out of 5 stars  This is a great way to clean your teeth!!!
By Karen H. Carabio on October 30, 2015
I was skeptical at first after reading the negative comments. I have used the ShowerBreeze for two months now. I am really impressed by the nozzles ability to clean all the areas around my teeth. Installed on the shower head makes using it so easy since I don't have to worry about where the water goes. It seems to be of fairly good quality and was so easy to install, my wife installed it. No leaks or anything. If it broke tomorrow, I'd get another one. I feel my teeth are getting the attention they need. It's always been a chore to floss and I felt guilty for not doing it. It's just a habit now to spend a little time cleaning my teeth. When it was installed a new shower head was installed and I do notice a slight drop in pressure but I'm not showering at that moment, I'm cleaning my teeth. Very easy to use.
