complete a therapy in itself as i see but useful during my quest of massage and more 1 the bodymind whole and the core self, freedom, the bodymind connection, listening to the body, jin shin do release process 2 the polar nature of the psyche = a taoist view, self-actualization and taoist let-be, the emotionnal kaleidoscope 3 five inner lands or five aspects of the psyche, the firey land of shen, the earthy land of I, the metallic land of P'o, the watery land of chih, the wooded land of hun, innate potentialities of persons 4 body mandala and the gall bladder meridian, eight rings of tension, segments, meridians and energy centers, jin shin do, control and chaos, gall bladder, getting lighter 5 triple warmer and small intestine meridians 6 stomach meridians 7 large intestine 8 bladder 9 land of shen revisited, heart & pericardium, the inner child, choosing joy, love and the pericardium, the joy of touching, evil emotion of shen,, hypoactive shen.... 10 the land of I Revisited, spleen/pancreas 11 lungs, 12 kidneys, 13 liver 14 acu-exercises
but anyway after many years now i know that it's the diet that is important see miracle Detox from Dr Morse, ok therapies will accompany in your journey but they won't cure you, they will unblock and well but for me chinese medecine is too complicated to understand for us westerners, i have witness of myself the effet of acupuncture and i don't deny it! really good! but i think those therapies are all missing the point of the diet, a fruitarian natural diet more or less!

Stellar, February 13, 2006

This book is an excellent compendium of information that relates bodymind experience to acupressure theory, five-element theory, and traditional chinese medicine. Fantastic companion to Iona Marsaa Teeguarden's Complete Guide to Acupressure.

Access the BodyMind dynamics of emotions, July 27, 2001
By Jack Bresler (Tel Aviv, Israel)
|

This book expains how emotions -in the Western sense - reflect energetic balance/imbalance -in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Theory and meridians. Innovative graphics illustrate the complex dynamics. Numerous clinical examples are provided, couched in the beautiful and mystical poetry of Chinese Medicine and Philosophy, against a background of clinical western psychology. An absolutely essential volume for anyone, not weaned on these metaphors, but interested in holistic treatment, at any level. Beatifully written, deserves to be read and re-read.
