Product Description:

This textbook, which has been known as the "Bible of Endodontics" for over 40 years, will, in its 6th edition, retain its recognition as "The Bible". With over 88 contributing authors from all over the world and 41 chapters, the new Ingle's Endodontics is the first endodontic textbook specifically prepared for the world's endodontic specialists and graduate students in advanced endodontic programs world-wide. It is the standard against which all other endodontic texts will be measured.

The main divisions of the book are "The Discipline of Endodontics", "Endodontic Pathobiology", "Endodontic Examination, Evaluation, Diagnosis & Treatment Planning", "Management of Endodontic Disease", "Surgical Procedures in Endodontics" and "Related Endodontic Treatment".

For the most part, the illustrations are in color. The evidence-based bibliography for each topic is extensive. Controversies in endodontics is explored. Diagnosis and management of pain and infections has been broadened. A new section dealing with maxillary sinusitis and endodontic disease, expanded by CT scans is featured. The newest endodontic armamentaria are covered in depth. With a roundup of the world's experts in all phases of the specialty, Ingle's Endodontics, 6th edition, promises to be the ultimate in endodontic textbooks. It is an essential reference for every endodontist's library.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great resource, June 02, 2012
By Otterbox fan
Great book for everything related even remotely to Endodontics from A to Z. You will find it here. Some spelling mistakes but with a book of this voluminous size, it'll be pretty challenging to read it all. Binding on this book is not the best. It may have been better to divide it into 2 volumes.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  A Must for Serious Students of Endodontics, August 02, 2011
By J. Thompson
This is THE current encyclopedia of Endodontics. The chapters are written by the "big names" in endodontic research and publications. Includes even the latest (as of 2009) about endodontic regeneration procedures.
Unfortunately, the index is poor, almost useless. There is information in the book not listed in the index, and some entries in the index reference the incorrect page of the text. So... to find what you are looking for, you have to decide which chapter should cover that topic, then skim the chapter to locate the information you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Ingle's Endodontics, July 16, 2009
By Island Mak (Hong Kong)
It is an excellent book of endodontics without any comment. There is an attached DVD with detail explanation. It provides many esoteric conditions, you will know it if you read. I am not the specialist but I love to have one. I treasure it. The book provides many complicated cases that we meet at routine career. They give references for me to manage those cases. I am very appreciated that tooth regeneration is being mentioned at chapter one of the book. How? Eager to know it!
