 Fell apart after 6 weeks, December 04, 2015

I thought this would be a great idea for my 15 month old grandson. He has had it for about 6 weeks and brushes the teeth once a day. The arms have opened at the seams and the legs are starting to. Disappointed that this is not of good quality. He is not even using it as a toy.

We purchased this item to help improve our child's brushing skills. My son loves brushing the tiger's teeth and exploring its mouth. This immediately translated to him working his tooth brush in more directions in his own mouth. So far this looks like a good aid for teaching dental hygiene to toddlers.

I'm a dental hygienist and I had a similar pet in an office that I used to work in but not currently. This is a little smaller than I expected as I think it is approximately 9 or so inches in height. He is such a cutie and light weight. The kids in my office also love him. He is super soft and has cute little teeth and comes with a toothbrush for kids to practice their brushing skills. He is well made, which is great since I need him to last a long time at my office. These are always a crowd pleaser, as kids think he is fun and enjoy learning how to brush properly. A great educational toy at work and if the kids are scared, they can hold the little guy and they aren't as scared. I received this at a discount to test and give my honest opinion and I am really glad I purchased this and the kids in my office enjoy playing with him and leaning. You can also get this in different animals as well. This little guy also comes with website info where you can download learning resources, coloring sheets, and all kinds of fun stuff for kids to learn about how to take care of their mouth's.
****Updated 7/6/15--This has been at my job with me a while now and the kids love him and this is really a great educational tool to help teach oral hygiene to small children. They like that he is cute and soft and they find it fun to brush his cute little teeth. This has definitely been a crowd pleaser at my dental office. I also printed out some of the coloring sheets from their webpage and the kids at the office enjoy those as well making waiting for parents much more fun.

I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review. The following opinions are 100% my own.
I love this item and think it is brilliant. My son is currently 14 months old and refuses to let me brush his teeth. He is just now started to mimic behaviors, so I think that this product will be great for him in a couple months. The animal has teeth that are separated enough from the fur so that he can use the toothbrush (which is provided) to brush the animals teeth. I plan on setting the animal on my counter in the bathroom and having him brush the animals teeth and then allowing me to brush his. I am very excited for this product and think that it is going to be very effective!!
