5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very Helpful, July 27, 2012

It's just enough information to get you started, the book is set up so easy and properly. DEF would recommend to anyone who's entering the dental field. I've already learned a good amount and I'm starting a job on monday :) get it !

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A Must-Have for Dental Assisting students!!, April 20, 2010
By Practice Mgmt. Pro - Dental Assistin.. (Modesto, CA)
Dental Assisting is tough enough to learn. It is always helpful to have tools that make learning and understanding easier. This instrument handbook is just that tool!

I purchased a number of them for incorporation into my small dental assisting school. My school offers basic hands-on training which moves very quickly. The course is intense and condensed. The students are hard-pressed to master infection control, impression, making bleaching trays etc. They NEED all the help they can get. Some of them took copies of the instrument book, made flash cards and proceeded to test each other in class!

They moved along much more rapidly that others before them!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Dental Instruments at your fingertips, August 24, 2005
By J. Johnson (Trinidad)
This book is incredible. Ideal for students now entering the dental field and even those already in dental schools who want to refresh their instruments knowledge. The layout is the perfect idea to help students study and retain what instruments look like and their uses.I would recommend this book to all students and those who have entered the dental field.

My only suggestion to make this book even better is to have the instruments in colour. But otherwise good going!!!!
