This is an older out-dated edition. However, I did still find it very helpful in teaching as an adjunct at a dental school. A good buy for the purchase.

I am a second year dental student at the University of the West Indies, School of Dentistry, Mount Hope Medical Sciences Complex, Trinidad, W.I. This book was a recommended text on our reading list. I used the book to prepare for my recent dental exams, and as it turned out I managed to top my class...I guess this is a reflection on how student oriented this book is. I really enjoyed reading the book. It was never a bore, and the illustrations were very helpful in visualising what was being narrated in the text. I highly recommend this book to all dental students and I also feel that those already in practice should have a view of this book to refresh their minds. There is much knowledge to be gained from this book as it provides the beginning student with a firm foundation upon which to build on.
