2.0 out of 5 stars.  Not a quick reviews and possible overkill, November 05, 2013
By Voltron (Parts unknown)
This is not a quick review book. The book is really in depth, which could be a good thing, but it may be overkilled for dental boards. I compares this book to their Medical student version and I would say its about 80% the same material. So to me it looks like they created a book for med students and one day decided to sell books to dental students so they just took the medical school version and repackaged and changed the cover to dentessential from medessential. So you will spend tons of hours studying topics that will no show up on the exam. I personally feed there are better prep material out there like decks.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Regarding NBDE part 1, January 22, 2013
By Raffie
Its the worst choice for studying during NBDE part preparations, its seems to be more suitable for USMLE students... its even not suitable for a review... its make you waste your time rather than get maximum benefit from it.
