This is an exciting time to be alive as a dentist. Technology and our understanding of the process of dental disease is making it easier to treat and prevent that disease. We can do more with less and restore dentitions that have been decimated by decay and old style dentistry. Unfortunately, there are also challenges. Patient expectations can be high, and the demand for an acceptable “customer service experience” is ever present. But more importantly to us, the rise of regulatory complaints, litigation and the interference into our affairs by external agencies is becoming an increasing burden. This book puts most of the laws and regulations that govern our day-to-day practice under 1 roof. Learn what 21 years as a dentist and 16 years as a dental practice owner have taught me.
